Snow Adventures and Lazy Sunday Afternoons

This Winter has been great for snow. I've always really loved snow and used to wish I lived in a place where there was snow all winter. Sometimes I still wish that, but for now, I am happy if I get to see one good snow a year. This year we've had several snows and it's been wonderful. Isaac gets snow days when he's not essential personnel, and so we get to hang out by the fire, him, me and Curtis, all day. I love it. It's been the perfect winter with our little family.
I've also come to realize how blessed we are when Isaac gets a whole weekend off. This past weekend, was a 3 day weekend for him, Sat, Sun and Mon off. So Sunday afternoon, after church, was another perfect day for us. We all 3 cuddled up on the couch while Curtis snoozed on Isaac, watched tv and just rested all afternoon. That rarely happens but it's such a gift when it does :)

Here's a few snow day pictures

These in the red shirt are from our Sunday afternoon. Isaac went to go get pizza, so Curtis and I had a little mini photo session

And this is what happens when he's tired of pictures

Peaches was the only one who'd come out and play, and even she did not like it very much

3 Months

Happy 3 months to our sweet baby boy!

He is such a joy and brings so much happiness to Isaac and me. All his little squeals, coos, squeaks and even screams just make us so happy :)
This past month he's started being entertained by toys. His favorite toy is an elephant named Peanut, and he really likes putting his giraffe in his mouth, something about the natural rubber is suppose to taste good to infants. He's still nursing well, which makes me super excited, although he has re-learned to take a bottle if need be, which is good for me because I started back at the CPC a few weeks ago. Isaac likes his daddy/son time until Curtis gets tired of the bottle and won't stop screaming.
Curtis has started sleeping about 5-7 hrs, most nights, although we still have the occasional night where he's up every 3 hrs, those can be a little rough, but luckily they are few and far between.
These past 3 months, while being crazy, exhausting and sometimes very frustrating, have been some of the best of our lives. I am so thankful for the sweet blessing God has given us :)
