Colorado Holiday

Isaac and I were blessed to be able to spend New Year's and the first part of Jan in Colorado. It was so wonderful to have those 2 weeks off to spend with family, getting to know them better. We spent the first few days in Denver, staying with Josh and Reiko. We ate wonderful food, got to have dinner with Uncle Mark and Dawn; they are a fun couple! And spent our nights playing Josh's odd, but incredibly fun games :)
We spent most of our time in Grand Junction with Isaac's parents. We had a wonderful date night at The Bistro(only THE best Italian restaurant ever, at least in America!). We got to spend tons of time with Malakai and Eden, our sweet niece and nephew. I got a chance to spend time with my wonderful sisters-in-law :) We were able to spend a lot of time with Isaac's second family, Nicky, Ryan and her family. We got to spend tons of time with Isaac's mom and dad. And we got to see and talk to Nana quite a few times, I loved hearing all her stories! It was such a blessing to get to know my family more.  I love it every time we get to visit them! It's always a fun time!
Here's a few pictures from the trip :)

These are some of our pictures from our drive from Denver to Junction. Isaac's dad was so kind to stop at every pull off he could think of to allow me to take pictures. It was so cold and snowy, but so incredibly beautiful!

These were at Nicky's house, on New Year's Day, we got to tie a sled to the back of the four wheeler and ride around, so much fun! It reminded me of my days in high school :)

This is pretty much the typical picture I always get of Isaac, he hates me taking pictures of him.

Our nephew, Malakai. We were able to help babysit him a few mornings while Lydia had some clinicals. He kept us very entertained. Isaac chased him in circles around the house, we made a pillow pallet for him to jump off the couch onto, and when he got really tired, he played a bubbles game on Isaac's phone.

Isaac took me on a drive on The Monument. It was an absolutely beautiful day, very cold, but it was so pretty. The roads were pretty sketch and a little scary to be driving on, but the views made it worth it. I hope one day we get to go up there when it's warm and hike.  There was a door randomly in the side of the mountain that we want to explore and figure out where it goes to.
